Recruitment is a great time to bond with your sisters and meet a wide variety of potential new members! There are four rounds of recruitment: Open Invite, Philanthropy, Sisterhood, and Preference. Each round focuses on a different aspect of the sorority experience, with conversations gradually increasing in depth.
In the first round of recruitment, Open Invite, potential new members visit every chapter. During these first few days, initial conversations about basic personal information, academic interests, and extracurricular involvement occur. During the Philanthropy round women will learn more about each chapter's philanthropy, a central component of sorority life. Sisterhood round is when sisters give touching speeches and conversations revolve around the importance of Panhellenic sisterhood. Preference round consists of a more in-depth ceremony where initiated sisters get to share their personal experiences with the sorority and demonstrate the special values we seek in new members. This final round ultimately decides which women are extended bids to join the sorority.
